It was a great morning in Galveston County. We had a client charged with Injury to a Child in which we got the state to agree for our client to take an online class for dismissal. It was a stupid case that should never have been filed and the prosecutor did the right thing. We had a second case in which our client was charged with DWI and had blood almost doubled the legal limit, and we got that prosecutor to agree to reduce it to a class C misdemeanor of disorderly conduct. Finally, we had a third case in which our client was charged with Assault on a Family Member and we got the prosecutor to allow our client to take a class for dismissal in her case too: So blessed to be able to help our clients this morning.

Came to Brazoria County this morning, looking for a trial and walked away with the dismissal. We were set for trial in this case on a client that was actually the victim. Fortunately, we were able to get the case dismissal the day of trial. Sometimes you have to take it all the way to get there.
